Vacation 2002 Pics

   Our 2002 vacation was a short 5 day outing to the North central Nebraska city of Valentine and surrounding area with some friends. We stayed at Schlagel Creek Ranch which as different than your normal motel stay. We spent our time canoeing and tubing down the Niobrara River by Valentine, seeing a demolition derby in Valentine, seeing Merritt Reservoir. We ended our outing by stopping at a water park in Grand Island on our way home.

   Then in August we went to Colorado Springs, CO to a Busch Grand National Nascar race. While we were there we went up Pikes Peak and then to the Royal Gorge so there are a few pictures from there also.
